Uganda: Bobby's Contract Extension On Hold
Bureaucracies still stand in the way of Bobby Williamson penning his new deal as Uganda Cranes coach. The 50-year-old Scot was due to sign a four-year extension on Wednesday, according Fufa president Lawrence Mulindwa. "It's true. His agent has been here and Bobby will sign an improved four-year deal tomorrow (Wednesday)," he told Daily Monitor on Tuesday. But the signing couldn't take off as the government was yet to commit to paying the coach's salary. Fufa have been paying Williamson's salary (undisclosed) since he signed a two-year deal in 2008.
